And youths around whom the lucky stars revolved,
The young men circled, as wine went round,
So the wine’s celestial sphere turned among them.
And as they circled, so did fate's wheel turn,
We spent the night as the cups’ light tore, with
The wine cups washed away all care and sorrow,
radiance, the veil of darkness, and it was torn.
As the first light broke, tearing night's veil,
We see the Pleiades and the full moon in conjunction,
We saw the Pleiades and the moon together,
As a king is greeted with narcissi.
Like a narcissus greeting its sovereign.
