بلغك الله الأماني فقد

أطربني لغزك لما أتى

Your riddle has delighted me since it came.

يحلو إذا كررت إنشاده

وكيف لا يحلو وفيه كتا

It is sweet when I repeat its recitation,

And how could it not be sweet, since in it lies poetry.
