محياه له حسنٌ بديعٌ

غدا روض الخدود به مزهر

His life, so beautifully adorned,

Made the garden of his cheeks full in bloom,

وعارضه رأى تلك الحواشي

مذهبةً فزمكها وشعر

And his face showed those elegant features

Gilded, so it dimmed them and their hair.
