هناءه إن عد في من فسق

They said so-and-so is immoral, I said: O happinesses

ما شرب المسكين إلا مرق

He eats people's flesh, and yet

The poor fellow drank only broth

دعاني صديقٌ إلى دعوة

فجاءت على غير ما أحسب

My friend invited me to a feast

سنانيرهُ تسلبُ الأكل من

يدي وزنابيره تلسب

His gold coins snatched the food from
