The sons have known whose servant he is

When the cockroaches bristled their worry

I am the son of her madness, holding its reins

I did not turn away from it with assuaging prophecies

From the length of time her days have tested me

I am not like those for whom her unlawful is permitted

Nor do you see a wet nurse caring for her child

Or a night where I slept, what sleep of mine!

I revived her until her darkness receded

With a filthy being, a breast overflowing with worry

The experienced guide leads the noble camel by its reins

While its mother panics in the wasteland

And a darkened land with flags

They all worry and fret with their faces and heads

If an inadequate man duped it, swindled it

A tribe whose boy is its worry

A tribe whose youths are its anxiety

It does not know what Moses or his wonders are
