Cast off the garments of Abu Dulaf,
Cast off the garments of Abu Dulaf,
And flee from rough and coarse men.
And flee from the pompous, arrogant braggart.
Let not the face of Abu Dulaf please you,
Let not Abu Dulaf impress you,
A face shining like a pearl oyster shell.
With a face that gleams like a pearl in the shell.
Verily I found my brother Abu Dulaf
For I have found my brother Abu Dulaf,
To be a doer of honorable deeds.
When it comes to deeds, to be of spurious honor.
