Clad in speckled clothes he walked in the shade
And waded into the body of the morning
With his blackness he contains more charm
Than salty white has to offer
When you see his pride as he faces
The flag of success, his beauties call out
To him from all directions
His sight quenches the thirsty
Better than fresh cold water
His ears nearly answer when
Someone calls out crying
He sang and rejoiced to the breeze and kept dancing cheerfully
He walked tipsily and swayed
Like one intoxicated with pleasure
He looked up to the wild sky and said
What bothers you, making you so gloomy
If I were free I would suggest
One with four feet shod with the winds
Before him we never saw
A bird that could fly without wings
Handsome, and more beautiful than him
In my eyes and than meadow flowers
And softer than dewy lips that reveal
Gaping holes like strawberry patches
A line came which taught me
A precious string of eloquent words
I adorned my verses with it
And forgot my woeful laments
