في حياةٍ مَزينةٍ بحَياءِ

خلفَ سِترَيْنِ مِن حِجىً وحِجال

Behind two veils of modesty and chastity

In a life adorned with shyness

ذَكَرُ العقل وهي أُنثى أَلا رُ

بَّ نِساءٍ لها عقول الرجال

Wisdom is attributed to her while she is a woman

By God, some women have the minds of men
