يا جَنَّةً فاقَتِ الجِنانَ فَما

تَبلُغَها قيمَةٌ وَلا ثَمَنُ

Oh Garden of Paradise beyond all gardens, no price or value can match you.

I found you and made you my homeland, for my heart loves you as its homeland.

أَلفَيتُها فَاِتَّخَذتُها وَطَناً

إِنَّ فُؤادي لِحُبِّها وَطَنُ

Your coasts have coupled the clouds as spouses, this is intimacy and that is alliance.

Look and ponder what surrounds you, the thoughtful and prudent perceiver,

زُوِّجَ حيتانُها الضِبابَ بِها

فَهَذِهِ كِنَّةٌ وَذا خَتَنُ

Of ships like ostriches sailing in, and ostriches that seem to be ships.

اُنظُر وَفَكِّر فيما تُطيفُ بِهِ

إِنَّ الأَريبَ المُفَكِّرُ الفَطِنُ

مِن سُفُنٍ كَالنَعامِ مُقبِلَةٍ

وَمِن نَعامٍ كَأَنَّها سُفُنُ
