وكم لبني صلاحِ الدِّين فينا

على الإسلام من حق تأكدْ

How many favors the sons of Saladin have upon us

For Islam, rights that are confirmed

وإنَّ لهم على الأملاكِ طُرّاً

بفتحِ القدس فضلا ليس يُجْحَدْ

And they have upon the kingdoms shining glory

With the conquest of Jerusalem, virtues unmatched
