Sol 5.6

  1. O People of Badr, through the Messenger turn yourselves

    to God for my plight, and loose my tether.

  2. The noose has drawn tight; I have come hoping, through your honored standing,

    for relief from these burdens.

  3. And one may petition through such standing—so answer my call,

    by God, at once, and take pity on my turmoil.

  4. May my Lord’s blessing and peace rest upon the Prophet,

    the best of creation, together with his Companions and Family.
