هاتِها كالتِبرِ خُفَّت بِاللآلي
وَاِمزُجِ الأَيامَ مِنها بِاللَيالي
She came like scattered pearls
I mix the days with nights because of her
بَينَ أَغصانِ دَوانِ وَقَفَت
تَطلُبُ الغُفرانَ مِن مَولى المَوال
Between the branches of a nearby tree she stood
Seeking forgiveness from the Master of all
وَدَوالٍ باسِطات كَفِّها
تَخطُبُ الصِهرَ إِلى بِنتِ الدَوالي
With outstretched palms begging
Asking for marriage into the family of nobility
وَأَغانٍ وَمَغانٍ حَولَنا
تَبذُلُ المَطلوبَ مِن قَبلِ السؤالِ
Songs and music all around us
Giving what is desired before being asked
وَجِنانٍ حافِلٍ حَفَّت بِهِ
جَنَّتانِ عَن يَمينٍ وَشِمالِ
Filled gardens surround us
Paradise to the right and to the left
