I say, when we met and you turned away
To scorn me today for those you approach other than me
I will grant you distance, withdrawing
Without hatred, perhaps separation will console me
You were our neighbor while the house gathered
Both waterer and shepherd for that religion from religion
You wished us joy if you were truthful
O love of self, is that what you wish me?
Or will you make me into a cold seed in a dish
So make me dissolved in it, then water me
What is it to you, when you've given me illness
And your husband was absent a day, that you return to me
