Yearn over me like she-camels bellowing

    Like bunches of pressed grapes

As if the pearls around your neck

    Were stars of radiant dawn

Your eyes overflowed but did not spill

    Fearing the slanderers might notice

Your condition and the shameless rebuker

You are like a gazelle in patterned cloth

More beautiful than the smooth stone of Al-Awsadj

Your riding camel and your litter

Are with the tender green and Al-Arafaj

And the mule went off with you

    Among snorting mules with bells

    Bearing white spotless eggs

    Like clouds of freezing hail

One of the daughters of Banu Murad from Mudhaj

And what's the purpose of Minā

If she does not make the Hajj
