لاحَت سِنايا الاحِبَّة في هلول الصُبح

يا قَلب بُشراك تَمَتَّع بِالوُجوه الصبح

The features of loved ones shone in the dawn's first glow

O heart, good news for you, delight in the dawn's faces

آتي رَسول البَشائِر قُلت لَه يا صُبح

كَرِّر حَديثِكَ عَلى سَمعي وَمتعني

The messenger of glad tidings comes, I said to him "O dawn

Repeat your words in my hearing, give me pleasure"

قالَ لي سمح لَكَ زَمانَك بِالرِضا وَالصُلح

He said to me "May your time be blessed with contentment and reconciliation"
