Tears—their flood mingled with blood,
as they stained the robe’s hem rose-red.
I let the anguish within me find release in tears
whenever the grace of resignation proves beyond my strength.
Your reproach is misplaced—my tears do not flow from your eyes,
nor do my afflictions and my malady dwell within your heart.
