وَرَقيقَةُ الحُجُراتِ با

دِيَةِ القَذى ذوبَ العَقيقِ

The softness of chambers with

The generosity of specks melted carnelian

في بَردِ كافورَ الرِيا

حِ وَحَرِّ نائِرَةَ الحَريقِ

In the coolness of camphorated breeze and heat of blazing fire

Its chain of sips

سلسالَة شرباتُها

يَفتَحنَ أَفواهَ العُروقِ

Opened the mouths of veins

Birds fed their chicks

زَقّ الطُيور فِراخها

لِصَبوحِها أَو لِلغَبوقِ

For their morning or for the vanishing
