مؤسّس الدولة المرهوب جانبها
ومن شأت قمة الدنيا مبانيها
The founder of the revered state
Who built the pinnacle of the world
ومن تظل المعالي من مبادئها
وباقيات المزايا من معانيها
Whose principles the glories stem from
And the remaining virtues mean
ومن يشيم بها الأحرار قدوتهم
ويعرفون الأمانيّ أمانيها
The free take him as their role model
And know their wishes are his wishes
ومن تعيش بها الأجواء أجمعها
مثل الشعوب التي قد اسعدت فيها
The atmospheres in which he lives
Are like the happy nations in them
كل له منزل حي ومؤتلف
وعزّة لم تكن وهما وتمويها
Each has a living place in harmony
Dignity not fancied and pretended
حتى الطيور تغنّت في موائلها
بنشوة فوق ما أوحت أغانيها
Even the birds sang in their habitats
Beyond what their songs inspired
حتى الوحوش التي تمحى مسارحها
من العداء تهادت في مجاليها
Even the beasts that erased their habitats
Of enmity wandered in their plains
حتى الطبيعة في أرجائها سكنت
فيها الألوهة ألوانا لرائيها
Even nature in its expanse settled
The godliness colored its sights
اليوم ميلادك الوضاء نعرفه
وإن حجبت بآثار نحييها
Today is your luminous birthday
Though achievements concealed it
أبا البلاد التي يحيا الجميل بها
مكرر العطر يجري في أقاحيها
O father of the country goodness thrives in
Repeating fragrance flows in its meadows
وفي الجميل المحلى من بواسقها
وفي الطليق المغني من قماريها
In the sweetened tall trees
In the melodious free plains
وفي جميع ناحيها كأن بها
لذكرك السمح تقديسا وتاليها
In all its sides as if in it
Is sanctity and exaltation for your memory
وفي جميع مباديها التي انتشرت
فرنّحت أمما شتى مباديها
And in all its principles that spread
Nations diverse eased their principles
يا من تبنتك أخلاق منزهة
عن الصغار فتاهت في تبنيها
O you adopted by virtuous morals
Above pettiness they missed in adopting you
جعلت سيرتك الغراء رائدة
للرائدين فعبوا من دراريها
Your great life made leadership
The leaders crossed its caves
يا قائد الثورة الكبرى ومنميها
حتى استحالت لظى أفنى أعاديها
O leader of the great revolution and its growth
Until it became a flame that eliminated enemies
وآخذ النصر والأيام مدبرة
والخصم يمعن تحقيرا وتسفيها
Taking victory andfate plotting
The opponent insisting belittlement and mockery
آمنت بالحق حتى صرته رجلا
وبالتقى فغدا دينا لأهليها
You believed in truth until you became its man
And in piety so it became the religion of its people
وغذ نجت من أذى الطاغوت ظافرة
بعزها كنت ربانا يراعيها
And you rescued from the tyranny’s harm victorious
By its dignity you were the captain guarding it
ولم تزل يا أبا إن نام عن ولد
وأمهم لم يناموا عنه تنويها
And you haven’t stopped o father if a son slept
And their mother didn’t sleep reminding them of you
حاشاك فالموت للأحرار مخلدهم
وللمبادىء معليها ومحييها
Far from you death immortalizes the free
And the principles transcend it and revive it
وهكذا سيرة الأبطال ملحمة
الخلد شاعرها والدهر راويها
That’s how the life story of heroes is an epic
Eternity is its poet and time is its narrator
