    أضواء بالحلم المردد

    Dance, O lights, with the echoing dream

    And rejoice, O fire, for a renewed faith

  2. وافرحي أيتها الن

    نار لإيمان مجدد

    The fast has passed and the torment of the cross dissipated

    And Christ today is free, shrouded in glory

  3. قد مضى الصوم وزا

    ل الصلب كابوسا تبدد

    Like truth which, though worn out, renews itself

    Like love which reveals itself in the temple of the universe

  4. والمسيح اليوم في

    عليائه حر مسود

    Like nobility which, without it, humanity disperses

    Like man who, through God, excels and unifies

  5. مثل الحق الذي إن

    ظن به يبلى يتجدد

    He revolted for justice when the oppressed collapsed

    And accepted pain as loyalists of death immortalized

  6. مثل الحب الذي في

    الكون يستجليه معبدج

    He left the world, while fortune was unsettled

    Bearing all the sins of people like a sturdy structure

  7. مثل النبل الذي لولا

    هُ في الدهر تشرد

    Ascending to the heavens like a shooting star or meteor

    Opening a new eternal kingdom

  8. مثل الإنسان في الل

    هِ تسامى وتوحد

    Announcing to angels and planets peace and servitude

    Then the universes in lights guiding light to tomorrow

  9. ثار للعدل فخرَّ الظُّل

    مُ حين اغتر وانهد

    After shaking the earth which once threatened

    After darkening the world when light was dark

  10. وارتضى الآلام أصحا

    با وعد الموت أخلد

    Celebrate today, O world, with elation or prostration

    Celebrate amidst symbols of love, adorned and prepared

  11. ودع الدنيا عيوف النف

    سِ بينا الحظ عربد

    Make the earth fields for hopes that pave the way

    Passionately, with the magic of joy like perfumed sorcery

  12. حاملا كل خطايا الن

    ناس كالصرح الممرد

    Celebrate as you wish, for this feast is like glorious God

    Religions and morals have benefited from its provisions

  13. صاعدا نحو السما

    وات شهابا أو مهند

    These sweets and eggs are poems of meaning

    And the procession of people worshipping

  14. فاتحا ملكا جديدا

    ما تناهى وهو يمتد

    O pilgrims in Jerusalem, camels that yearn

    I am one of you though distant, in prayer without confines

  15. بشر الأملاك وال

    أفلاك بالسلم وعبد

    I've known my philosophy of symbols and pure mysticism

    As if I was present at the crucifixion and the precise resurrection

  16. فإذا الأكوان في ال

    أضواء تهدي النور للغد

    But only my laments, sorrows, and blazing revenge remain

    It is my love that remains eternal

  17. بعدما زلزلت ال

    أرض وقد كانت تهدد

  18. بعدما أظلمت الدنيا

    وكان الضوء أسود

  19. فتهادي اليوم يا

    دنيا بماس أو بعسجد

  20. عيدي بين رموز ال

    حُبِّ مخضلا مهدهد

  21. واجعلي الأرض أزا

    هيرَ لآمالٍ تُمهد

  22. عابقات بشذى ال

    فرحةِ كالسحر الموسَّد

  23. عيدي ما شِئتِ هذا

    العيدُ كالله ممجَّد

  24. عبّت الأديان وال

    آداب منه تتزوّد

  25. هذه الحلوى وهذا ال

    بيض أشعار تقصد

  26. والحفيّ الموكب الس

    ساني لشعب يتعبد

  27. أيها الحجاج في ال

    قدس زُرافات تأود

  28. أنا منكم رغم بعدي

    في صلاة لا تحدد

  29. عرفت فلسفتي الرمز

    كعرفاني المجرد

  30. وكأني قد حضرت الص

    صَلبَ والبعث المسدد

  31. فأبت لي غير ألحا

    ني ما يروى ويسرد

  32. إنها دمعي وأش

    جاني وثأر يتوقد

  33. إنها حبي الذي يب

    قى على الدهر المخلد
