    Laugh then laugh, O mockers

And take pleasure in tormenting my angry heart

Laugh, I have no more hope

    In curing the vile, insane

    Alas, they sold their homelands

As they sold the rights of the toilers

And considered it lawful to stone someone like me with harm

And permitted the arrogance of the unjust tyrant

After I left my home for you

Every injustice that befell me became trivial

However you wish, it is yours to strangle me

Or starve me as madness willed

Yet I am the resolute one who, if he grows old, will not

Be moved by sorrows and passions

I am in myself a noble master

And from it a lion in a den

My burning is not for my soul but grief

For what the foolish people suffer

Prayers of humiliation are in your mouths

And offerings to the gluttonous whale

What a corrupt gang you are

Who think foolishness is the weapon of conquerors

These are days counted for you

And years in illusion from the days

Then the whale passes, your food remains

    A single bite, not stingy

Laugh and relish bringing it closer

Your gathering of it until a time and moment

For your food is all your prey

The eaten is the same between the eaters

The people's sleep is nothing but a coma

And so is justice or honesty of conviction

If you think the matter in life is for those

Who deceived life, you counted them as honest

For the lessons of fate in its rulings

Did not deceive or get deceived with murmuring

Truth alone is the victor, it will not

    Perish even if imprisoned
