يا وزيرَ البلادِ جئنا نحيّي

ك ونطري الصنيعَ يتلو الصنيعا

O Minister of the country, we came to greet you

And observe your good deeds succeeding good deeds

ما شفاءُ المرضى وفكُ الأسارى

وأمانُ البريء لاقى الشفيعا

There is no healing the sick, freeing the captives

And securing the innocent like finding an intercessor

مثل تخفيفك الديون على الأر

ض وتيسيرك الوفاء المنيعا

Like your relieving debts on earth

And your facilitating hard payments

أنت خلصتها من البيع جبراً

فتملكتَ مالكيها جميعا

You saved it from forced sale

So you owned all its owners entirely
