أمانة الملك تدعوكم وتدعوني

وما سوى الصدق يرضيكم ويرضيني

The king's trust invites you and invites me

And nothing but truth satisfies you and satisfies me

أهل المواثيق صنتم عهدكم وأتت

أيدي الأعزة في أيدي الميامين

O people of covenants, you have kept your promise and

The hands of the honored have come into the hands of the skilled

شاركتموهم وأنتم أخوة وهمُ

في الواجب الضخم أكفاء الموازين

You have shared with them while you are brothers and they

In the great duty, equal to the scales

كلٌّ على الدهر معوانٌ لصاحبه

كما استعان له موسى بهارون

Everyone in life is a supporter of his friend

As Moses was helped by Aaron

اليوم موعدكم بالخير جاءكمُ

كما توقعت من حين إلى حين

Today your appointment with good has come to you

As I expected from time to time

وإن ظفرتم فقد كنتم لأمتكم

خير الفدى والضحايا والقرابين

And if you succeed, you have been

The best ransom, sacrifice and tribute for your nation

والأمر أولى براعيه ومحسنه

في قومه لا بمأفوك ومأفون

And the matter is more worthy of its shepherd and benefactor

In his people, not with misfortune and misfortune

وما القوانين في شعب بمغنية

إن لم يجد ذمماً عدل القوانين

And what are laws in a people with a flute

If they do not find just laws to be just

تبيَّنَ الناس والدنيا مداولة

خلق الملائك من خلق الشياطين

People and worldly affairs have been revealed

The creation of angels from the creation of devils

بالحكم عيّركم رهط وإنهمُ

بالحكم ما برحوا بعض المجانين

With governance, a group reproached you, and they

With governance, they have not ceased to be some of the insane

يرون أن جميع العالمين همُ

وكل خلق بأيديهم وتكوين

They see that all the worlds are them

And every creature is in their hands and formation

وما يريدون إلا أن يكون لهم

كل المناصب فوضى والدواويين

And they only want for themselves

All positions are chaos and chaos

يحرّمون عليكم ما لأنفسهم

يحللون بلا شرع ولا دين

They forbid you what is permissible for themselves

They permit without law or religion

خلت صحائفهم من كل فائدة

وإن أطالوا لها ضخم العناوين

Their pages are devoid of any benefit

And if they lengthened huge titles for it

هم بالهوى يكتبون المخزيات لهم

ويحلمون بتصديق وتأمين

They write shameful things out of desire

And they dream of believability and assurance

والأدعياء الأنانيون عدتهم

هوج الأراجيف لا صدق البراهين

And the number of selfish claimants

Is the nonsense of rumors, not the truth of evidence

لا يتركون غليلاً في قلوبهمُ

وفي بطونهمُ سم الثعابين

They do not leave any grudges in their hearts

And in their abdomens the poison of snakes

ضقتم بصحبتهم من بعد ما عبثوا

بكل سرٍّ لأوفى الصحب مكنون

You were distressed by their company after they corrupted

Every secret of the most loyal friend

واستأثروا بأمانات الحمى وقضوا

فيه على كل محفوظ ومخزون

And they monopolized the trusts of sanctuaries and spent

In it on everything preserved and stored

لم تتركوهم سدى إلا لأنكمُ

أبيتمُ لهمُ عيش السراحين

You only left them in vain because you

Refused them the life of the carefree

إن كان لا بد من دعوى لهم بقيت

فتلك دعوى المناكيد المساكين

If there must be a claim for them, it remains

The claim of the wretched miserable

وإن أقاموا وهم في الضيق مؤتمراً

فليس إلا لتمويه وتهوين

And if they hold a conference while they are in distress

It is only for obfuscation and belittlement

يعللون بتلك السوق أنفسهم

ويشتفون بتطريب وتلحين

They justify themselves with that market

And they are entertained by harmony and melody

وقد مضى عيدهم فيها وموسمهم

وليس في العيد سلوان لمحزون

And their feast and season has passed in it

And there is no solace for the grieved in the feast

لهم معاذيرهم من بعد ما نفدت

سوائغ الزاد من تلك المواعين

They have their excuses after the good provisions ran out

From those pipes

لا يملكون سبيلاً بعد ما فقدت

صيحاتهم كل تحريك وتسكين

They have no way after their screams lost

All mobilization and tranquility

فعالجوهم بذكرى أو بلائمة

فأنتم اليوم أهل البأس واللين

So treat them with a reminder or reproach

For you today are the people of power and gentleness

إن أحسنوا فلهم منكم مكانهمُ

وخطوهم في النواحي والميادين

If they do good, they have their place with you

And mark their path in the regions and plains

ولو أصابوا لما خافوا ولا غضبوا

وكلكم خير مرضيٍّ ومأمون

And if they were right, they would not have feared or been angry

And all of you are better pleasing and reliable

هذي طريق إلى العدوان شائكة

وتلك أخرى إليكم من رياحين

This is a thorny path to aggression

And that other one to you is of gardens

قومي أفادحة الأسبان بينكم

أم تلك جائحة اليابان والصين

Are they people of terrible harm between you

Or is that raging Japan and China

إني قتيل تعاديكم وفرقتكم

وليتني كنت من قتلى فلسطين

I am killed by your hostility and division

I wish I was one of the martyrs of Palestine

موت الفتى الحر في الهيجاء أفضل من

موت الفتى الحر بالأحزان والهُون

The death of the free young man in turmoil is better than

The death of the free young man in sorrows and affliction

من لي بمن يستطيع الصلح بينكمُ

فلا أرى غير تأييد وتمكين

Who can I reconcile between you?

For I see only support and enablement

لو عشتُ في وطن يوماً سوى وطني

أحيا بيانيَ موتاه وتبييني

If I lived a day in a homeland other than my homeland

Reviving my statement, death and explanation
