1. اليوم يوم معزة وفخار

    للمسلمين بسائر الأقطار

    Today is a day of pride and glory

    For Muslims in all lands

  2. فلقد تجلى الملك فيه بمظهر

    بهِجٍ وأسفر أيَّما إسفار

    For the King has appeared with a face

    Radiant and bright like the rising dawn

  3. طلق المحيا ليله كنهاره

    فكلاهما متضاعف الأنوار

    His smile shines like the night and day

    Both doubled in light

  4. الآن تقتبل العباد سعوده

    متهللين تهلل الأقمار

    Now the servants greet his joy

    Rejoicing like the glowing moon

  5. والآن تزدحم الوفود بيلدزٍ

    متبسمين تبسم الأزهار

    And now the crowds flock cheerfully

    Smiling like flowers in bloom

  6. بشراً بعيد جلوس سلطان الورى

    عبد الحميد خليفة المختار

    Announcing the sitting of the Sultan of the World

    Abdulhamid, the chosen Caliph

  7. الوارثِ السلطانَ عن آبائه ال

    أطهار عن أجداده الأخيار

    The heir to the throne from his fathers

    The purest from his noble ancestors

  8. ربِّ الكتائب والقواضب والقنا

    والحزم والتدبير والإسرار

    Lord of armies, ships, and plans

    Wise, discreet, and secretive

  9. أندى الملوك يداً وأسمى رتبة

    في المجد بالإجماع والإيثار

    The most generous King of high rank

    By consensus and preference

  10. من عمَّر اللّهُ الخلافة باسمه

    فتخلصت من وحشة الأقفار

    He whose Caliphate was given long life by God

    And so escaped the desolation of ruins

  11. عاشت زماناً لا يقر قرارها

    وبه استقرت أيمن استقرار

    It lived an age with no rest

    And with him found stability at last

  12. متملك يجلو الخطوب بوجهه

    أو رأيه أو سيفه البتار

    A ruler who dispels disasters with his face

    Or opinion or sharp sword

  13. وعليه من سيما الإمامة هيبة

    ممنوحة من هيبة القهار

    And he possesses the awe of leadership

    Bestowed by the Mighty Lord

  14. لو يلمس الصخر الأصم تدفقت

    منه المياه تدفق الأنهار

    If barren stone felt his touch

    Water would flow like rivers at his word

  15. أو حاز بدر التم بعضَ سناه لم

    يدركه ظل غمامة بسرار

    Or if the full moon gained some of his glory

    No cloud could veil its light

  16. يا أيها الملك الهمام ومن به

    قد سالمتنا صولة الأقدار

    O brave King, in you

    We are safe from the blows of fate!

  17. يا أيها الغيث الهمول الممطر ال

    خيرات والمغني عن الأمطار

    O abundant rain, you who pours

    Goodness and makes rain unnecessary

  18. يا أيها القمر الذي قد أوضحت

    آياته سبل الهدى للساري

    O moon who has clarified

    The paths of guidance for all who journey

  19. يا أيها الحصن الذي أركانه ال

    شماء تثني أعين الأخطار

    O fortress whose pillars

    Dazzle the eyes of every danger

  20. يا أيها الليث الذي بزئيره

    ذابت جوانح كل ليث ضار

    O lion whose roar melted

    The wings of every harmful lion

  21. يا ناصر الإسلام إن زماننا

    بك صار في عز وفي استكبار

    O defender of Islam, in our time

    With you we have power and pride

  22. ومعزَّ كلِّ مسالمٍ لك خاضعٍ

    ومذلَّ كلِّ معاندٍ جبار

    And you have honored each peaceful servant

    And humiliated each stubborn tyrant

  23. ومعيدَ أدوارِ الشباب لموطن

    كم للحوادث فيه من أدوار

    And returned the cycles of youth to the nation

    With all its many rounds of fate

  24. للّه جيشك وهو بحر تغتدي

    وتروح فيه سفائن من نار

    God's army is yours, it is an ocean

    Where ships of fire sail and flow

  25. غمر البلادَ وأغرق الأطواد وام

    تلك العباد بذلك التيار

    It flooded the land and drowned the enemy

    Sweeping away those men in its tide

  26. من كل مقدامٍ كميٍّ أغلبٍ

    ثبت الجنان مدرب مغوار

    Full of every valiant, ambitious conqueror

    Whose soul was steeled in war's harsh grinding stone

  27. كم فل جيشاً للعداة وثل عر

    شاً للطغاة وغال من أعمار

    How many an army it broke for the foe, and tore apart

    The power of tyrants, shortening their days

  28. ما للأُلَى اشترَوا الضلالة بالهدا

    ية قد عموا عن هذه الآثار

    What delusion made those misguided ones trade guidance for heresy?

    Blinded to these traces

  29. يا عصبة شاموا من الشيطان بر

    قاً غرَّهم بجهامه الغرار

    O Syrians, beware the devil's deception

    His empty lies made them stray

  30. لا تُغضبوا هذا الإمامَ عليكم

    وحذار من سوء المصير حذار

    Do not anger this Imam against you

    And beware an evil end, beware!

  31. لولا محبتُه السلامَ أبادكم

    فغدوتمُ خبراً من الأخبار

    If not for his love of peace, he would destroy you

    And leave you as news of the past

  32. مولاي إن لهم بملكك مطمعاً

    قد أسسوه على شفير هار

    My Lord, they covet your kingdom

    And plot against you on the edge of doom

  33. فاغضض بحلمك ناظراً لك فيهمُ

    يقظاً كفاهم رائع الإنذار

    So curb your anger, watching them carefully

    Wakeful, let your warning restrain them

  34. أفروق كم حنت إليك جوانحي

    يا زينة الدنيا وأشرف دار

    How my heart longs to be near you

    O jewel of the world, most noble abode!

  35. ما صاح طير أو تألق بارق

    إلا وهمت بأهلك الأبرار

    No bird sang or lightning flashed

    But I thought of your family, so pure

  36. حياك رب العالمين بوابل

    متدفق من خيره مدرار

    May the Lord of the Worlds greet you with abundant

    Torrents of His endless generosity

  37. يا من صفا كأس الحياة بحكمه

    فكفى العباد مرارة الأكدار

    O you who mixed the cup of life with his wisdom

    Saving the servants from bitter misfortune

  38. هذي ثمار فتى بروضك عوده

    ريان من ماء الشباب الجاري

    These are the fruits of a boy raised in your meadow

    Watered by streams of flowing youth

  39. تخذ الولاء شعاره يرجو به

    وجه الإله سجية الأحرار

    Taking loyalty as his motto, hoping through it

    To attain God's favor, free soul that he is

  40. في كل جارحة لسان ناطق

    منه بشكرك سار في الأمصار

    In each limb a tongue speaks

    Spreading thanks to you throughout all lands

  41. أطلقته في ذا النعيم فأطلق ال

    صوت الرخيم بهذه الأشعار

    You released him in this bliss so he released

    Mellow tones in these verses

  42. لولا ارتياح الطير ما سحر النهى

    بعجائب التغريد في الأسحار

    Without the birds' comfort the dawn would not charm

    With wonders of song at daybreak

  43. لا زال هذا التاج فوق جبينك ال

    وضاح مبعث رهبة ووقار

    May this crown remain bright above your brow

    Inspiring awe and dignity

  44. وأعاد هذا العيد ربك مبلغاً

    فيه الرعايا منتهى الأوطار

    And may your Lord restore this holiday

    Bringing your subjects to the height of joy
