You who fills kingdoms with renown

With gifts of kings, best of creations

The Great William gave you only

The price of knowledge, and friend's reward

He clothes you with his raiments fair

And gives you sweetest congratulations

O friend of kings, ill-fate but gave

You more humility for your friend

You've no need that I reward you

For all the bounty and rights from me
