I yearned for your affection in your old age
Until my fate drew near to your fate
My eyes turned away from your palace
After you, out of asceticism towards your grave
How much pain stirred in your chest
Yet you did not divulge it, keen on keeping your secret
Whoever gloats rejoices in your harm
May God reward you for your patience
How much dignity returned in your matter
Trying, desiring to subdue you
So he thought what he suspected in your mind
Then await the imminent evil from you
And you have not known evil in your life
