Graceful houris stirred longing in your heart
Delicate beside cushions of silk
Pleasant companions of chaste conversation
Lifting the curtains of brocade tents
Doubled over in fits of giggling
Above carpets and embroideries
Modest in their attire yet in them is
Refinement in figure and waist
What saddened us most were insolent ones
When they clicked their shoes with their whips
So God divided them, those insolent ones
And they reaped the reward of restlessness
Just as they had stirred my heart, so it was
Wandering after the bliss of intimacy
