ولا تَأمَنَن مِن مُبغِضٍ قُربَ دارِهِ

ولا مِن مُحبٍّ أَن يَمَلَّ فَيبعُدا

Do not feel safe from an enemy whose house is near,

Nor from a friend, lest he grow weary and keep his distance.
