It is time to wake or shorten the night
The age of promise has arrived
عَن مُبرِقاتٍ بالبُرينَ وتَب
دُو بالأَكُفِّ الَّلامعِاتِ سُوُر
With tents gleaming white and raised
With glowing outstretched palms their walls
بِيضٌ عليهنَّ الدِّمَقسُ وبِال
أَعناقِ مِن تَحتِ الأَكُفَّةِ دُر
Pale light upon them, necklaces of pearls
Beneath their veils
