قد بَرَّح الشوقُ بمشتاقك

فأَولِهِ أحسنَ اخلاقك

Longing has set out to your admirer

So treat it with your finest manners

لا تَجفُهُ وارعَ له حقَّهُ

فإنه خاتِمُ عُشَّاقِك

Do not spurn it or deny its due

For it is the seal of your admirers
