مَولايَ أَنجِز ما وَعَدتَ لِمُخلِصٍ

باقٍ عَلى الوُدِّ القَديم بِلا مِرا

My Lord, fulfill what you have promised to the loyal

One who remains with the ancient affection without change

صَرفُ الدَراهِمِ في الضَرورَةِ جائِزٌ

في الشِعرِ وَالمَملوكُ أَصبَحَ شاعِرا

Spending money in time of need is permissible

In poetry, and the slave has become a poet

لا زِلتَ في عِزٍّ مَنيعٍ بانِيا

بَيتَ الفَضائِلِ وَالمَكارِمِ في الذُرا

You remain in an impregnable glory

Building the house of virtues and honors from the seeds
