She remained under that oppression from her shepherd

Between two hillocks to her folds

While the eye settled on her food

Of the plants of the earth and its fruits

Until when her udders were full

And the urine leaked onto her companions

And the weakest among her sheep-herds seized

The hem of her cloak in its folds

She remembered to follow the coldness of her water

And the common reed from her resting places

So she dismissed the powerless among her sheep-herds

And the morning found her unkempt from her trials

Blessing the pulling away at her udders

A tiliha who spends the night in her oases

As if when she came to her water

A battalion had come to its banners

The enemies had shaken it from meeting her

She almost trips in the crowds and in their assault

    Dripping mucus from her sides

When the branded one turns from her food

She bleats like thunder from her singing
