أرض من العقيان

في صورة الطيلسان

A land of lilies

In the image of brocade

الشكل شكل رداء

والنقش نقش الصواني

The shape is the shape of a cloak

And the embroidery is the embroidery of trays

بها ثلاث ركايا

حقت بها بيران

In it are three mirrors

Set with crystals

ففي الركايا ثلاث

رحب ومخنوقتان

So in the three mirrors

Two spacious and one narrow

من الزجاج القد

يم المستعمل المرواني

Of old glass

Well used and polished

وكلهن ملاء

بالسعد والاشنان

And all filled

With joy and delight

والمجلب المتروي

من طيب الادهان

And the censer diffusing

Sweet fragrances

وفي القليبين أيضا

زها خلال الرهان

And in the two braziers also

Flowers amidst burning coals

حور بن لا لشنان

أسرعن لا لطعان

Houris without any blemish

Hastening without hesitation

نوع عراض تحاكي

مضارب العيدان

Of a kind competing

With the spears of festivals

وآخر ذو انخذال

في دقة السامان

And another with perfect proportions

In the quality of workmanship

ففي ولاية هذي

الألوان عز الخوان

So in this land

Colors are most delightful
