Sol 5.6

  1. Restorer of perished beings, as at their first creation,

    that the glory of absolute power may be revealed.

  2. Return is but the beginning, insofar as both obey the decree “Be.”

    Exalted are You: both creations lie within Your grasp.

  3. In the first creation are signs that attest

    the majesty of the Almighty Truth’s power, exercised without intermediary.

  4. The body’s resurrection is no greater an undertaking

    for its Originator than the original act of creation.

  5. My God, the sovereign force of Your power prevails

    over a creation brought forth and a creation restored.

  6. The source of the returning creation and the first is one;

    the decree concerning us is but as for a single soul.

  7. Restorer of the bountiful gifts granted without any cause

    save pure generosity and all-embracing mercy,

  8. restore to me a portion that my sin has torn apart,

    and come, my Lord, between me and sin.

  9. Restore to me my refuge amid every hardship,

    through Your high honor, O You whose honor is the pillar of my protection.
