    —th and truth, with an innate nature that never turns away.

  2. God’s own dye is my dye; to You, O—

    —One, I turn my face; Islam’s cord is my cord.

  3. From the wine of divine unity, O One, O Soli—

    —tary, give me a draught of the lover secure in intimacy.

  4. Creator of all beings, upon the innate nature of divine uni—

    —ty stand firm my certainty and my reason.

  5. Keep me, O Everlasting One, upon the firmest hand—

    —hold, until I meet You on the Day of Decision.
