1. To the true Judge, who does not revoke what

He has decreed with sovereign authority, I have brought my complaint.

  2. To the true Judge, whose judgment has no

reviser of its ruling, nor any contradictor of its wisdom.

  3. To the true Judge, whose judgment is not touched

by doubt, nor is there an atom’s flaw in His deed.

  4. To the true Judge, whose neighbor under His protection is honored,

and who has upheld equitable judgment among all creation.

  5. My endurance has weakened, O wisest of judges, because of

a stubborn rebel who has subjected me to the worst of plights.

  6. Yours is judgment, and to You is the return; Your mighty

stronghold is my refuge, and Your vindication is my glory.

  7. So seize him in the very abode of safety—Your way, which

passed among bygone generations and annihilated them.

  8. My God, grant no unbeliever a way

against a Muslim who holds fast to the Sacred Law.

  9. My God, judge in my favor against him, and turn him

away from me by Your judgment, O my Helper and my mainstay.

  10. My God, this rebel cannot escape You,

and You are zealous, witnessing the sincerity of my plea.

  11. And in Your just judgment, which You are fit to render,

lies the swift seizure of the tyrant with punishment.
