ويا عدل في أحكامه وقضائه

وفي خلقه والرزق والفاعلية

O Justice in His judgments and decrees

And in His creation, sustenance and efficacy

الهي كتبت العدل حتماً وسره

إليك ولم يدركه علم الخليفة

My God, You have decreed justice as destiny

Known to You but not grasped by the minds of rulers

الهي لم تجبر على الذنب مذنباً

كما لم تفوضه لخلق الخطيئة

My God, You compelled no sinner to sin

Just as You entrusted none to create wrong

الهي فطرت الكائنات بحكمة

على العدل في الأشباح والصفتية

My God, You created all beings wisely

Upon justice in their spirits and natures

الهي دبرت الأمور قويمة

على العدل والاحسان تدبير حكمة

My God, You have arranged all affairs righteously

With justice and beneficence, wisdom's governance

الهي ما في الملك مثقال ذرة

من الجور حكماً من جلال الألوهة

My God, in the kingdom there is not an atom's weight

Of injustice, by the majesty of Divinity

الهي ظلم الكون بعض لبعضه

يحال على الاكساب من غير شركة

My God, if some in the world oppress others

It is due to their own acts, without partnership

الهي عبد من عبيدك ظالم

رماني بسهم الظلم منه فاصمت

My God, one of Your servants has wronged me

Striking me with the arrow of injustice, yet I am silent

تخطى خطى العدوان للمكر آمناً

وعينك بالمرصاد من كل خطوة

He has trodden the path of aggression, trusting

While Your eye watches from every step

فيا عدل أوبئة بعدلك أنه

تمادى على الطغيان والاسرية

So inform him, O Justice, of Your justice

That he persists in tyranny and captivity

تعاليت رب الملك اهمال ظالم

ولا رد مظلوم ببابك مخبت

Exalted Lord of the Kingdom, neglect no oppressor

Let no oppressed be turned away from Your door
