خَلِّ الصبابة تسري في خليقتهِ

والحب من سره لطف وتذليلُ

Let youth in all its freshness have its way

لعل سكرته في الحب تجذبُهُ

إلى وصالك يوماً وهو مذهولُ

Draw him with love drunk though he turn away

To you one day though now he's in a daze

فاصبر عليه وخل الحب ينحله

جرح بجرح وما في الحب تبديلُ

Have patience, let love gently heal and bind

Wound upon wound, for love is constant, stays
