ويا من هو اللّه الخبير لذاته

بخبرتك اللهم كل حقيقة

O God, Knower of all truths within Yourself

With Your perfect knowledge of all possibilities

علمت الهي الكنه من كل ممكن

كما شئته كوناً من العدمية

You knew, my God, the essence of everything possible

As You willed creation out of nothingness

ومهما يكن من خبرة فلعلة

تجدد غير الخبرة الأزلية

And whatever knowledge I may attain

Is naught compared to Your eternal knowledge

فما ساكن في الخلق أو متحرك

ولم يك في الأزال منك بخيرة

For nothing in creation, still or moving

Was not already known to You since eternity

ومالي وعرض الحال والحال فطرة

وأنت خبير يا الهي بفطرتي

What concern is my state to discuss? Since my nature

Is known to You, my God, who knows my innermost being

نعم عرض حالي نجعة من مقاعدي

إليك وفرض من فروض العبودة

Yes, I confess my state from where I kneel

To You, as duty binds me in worship

دعوت مع البلوى إلى فسحة الدعا

فالجأتني في كرب ضيقي لفسحتي

I called out in affliction to the relief of prayer

So I took refuge in You in my straitened distress

فما ذرة يا رب تخفى عليك من

بلائي وتضراعي وحلي ونجعتي

Not an atom, O Lord, of my trial, pleading, state and refuge

Escapes You, though so much escapes my knowledge

تراقب ضري يا خبير برحمة

ولطف ولم أخرج من العدمية

You watch my harm, O Knower, with mercy

And grace, for I emerged not from nothingness by myself

وتعلم ما آتي وما أنا تارك

وما كان في علمي وما فات خبرتي

And You know what I will do and leave behind

What was in my knowledge and what escaped my knowing

الهي قد أدركت كنه عوالمي

فكن لي بما يرضيك من تبعيتي

My God, You grasped the essence of my being

So make me as You will me to be in my submission
