The All-Knowing One’s pre-eternity, intrinsic to His essence, necessarily entails

knowledge encompassing existence and nonexistence.

كان العليم فكان من ايجاده

The All-Knowing was; then, through His bringing into being,

their two poles came to be, after Will and pre-eternity.

لوجوبه وجبت احاطة علمه

والشيء واللاشي جف به القلم

والشيء واللاشي جف به القلم

Because His existence is necessary, the encompassing reach of His knowledge is necessary;

and what is and what is not—the Pen has run dry concerning it all.
