تكفلت يا رزاق بالرزق مطلتا

بغير حساب بين كثر وقلة

You have guaranteed, O Sustainer, our provision

Without limit between abundance and scarcity

فما الجد في الأرزاق إلا توكل

وإلا فما في الرزق تبديل قسمة

So there is no use worrying about provisions

Except to trust in You, for the allotment of provision cannot be changed

ضمنت به للخلق حسب احتياجهم

على سبل الأسباب كل لوجهة

You have predetermined for all creation their share

According to their needs, by means of causes

وهيأت أسباب الحصول بأوجه

ميسرة حسب افتراق المعيشة

And You have facilitated the means of attainment

In ways appropriate for different livelihoods

ولم تجعل الأسباب علة رزقهم

ولكنه تدبير لطف وحكمة

You have not made the means the cause of their provision

Rather, it is an arrangement of grace and wisdom

الهي يقيني في ضمانك عمدتي

وفضلك خير الرازقين ذخيرتي

My God, my certainty in Your guarantee is my pillar

And Your grace is the best provision for me

وحسبي من رزقي بأنك كافل

به قبل بسط الكف مني بدعوتي

It is enough that You watch over

My provision before I even raise my hands in supplication

وفرض سؤال العبد واللّه فاعل

لما اختاره من يسر عبد وعسرة

Asking the servant is an obligation on Allah

For the ease or hardship He has ordained for each

ومرزوق هذا الكون يطلب رزقه

إليك ويستوفي ضمان الربوبة

And all the creatures of this universe seek their provision from You

And obtain the guarantee of Your Lordship

وما حيلة المضطر في الرزق غير ما

فتحت به من دعوة ووسيلة

And the desperate have no recourse in obtaining provision except

Through supplication and the means You have opened

فما رازق النعاب أدعوك بائساً

بفيض اسمك الرزاق وسع معيشتي

So I, miserable as I am, call upon You

To expand my livelihood through the abundance of Your name, The Sustainer
