1. ريب المنون مقارض الأعمار

    وحياتنا تعدو إلى المضمار

    The approach of death steals our lives away,

    And our lives rush on towards the end.

  2. والنفس تلهو فوق تيار الردى

    يا ليتها حذرت من التيار

    The soul plays heedlessly above the current of loss,

    If only it had beenware of the current!

  3. قرت على رنق وزخرف باطل

    مثل القرار على شفير هار

    It settled for vanity and empty embellishment,

    Like a bird perched at the edge of an abyss.

  4. ماذا يغر المرء من محياه في

    دنياه وهي قرارة الأكدار

    What deludes man to delight in

    His worldly life, though it is the source of sorrows?

  5. يتساقط المغرور في لهواتها

    تفريه بالأنياب والاظفار

    The arrogant stumble in their idle pursuits,

    Amusing themselves with claws and fangs.

  6. كشفت سرائرها ونادت جهرة

    بعيوبها في سائر الأعصار

    She has revealed her secrets and proclaimed openly

    Her flaws throughout the ages.

  7. لم يبق شيء من شئون صروفها

    في نحت أثلتنا على الاضمار

    Nothing remains of her changing conditions

    In our estimation except denial.

  8. نفقت تجارتها وما باعت على

    غرر ولا كذبت على التجار

    She exhausted her wares and sold nothing

    Of real value, nor lied to the merchants.

  9. يتهافت العمار في هلكاتها

    فعل الفراش على لهيب النار

    Buildings crumble into her ruin

    Like moths into consuming flames.

  10. تجري إلى شهواتها سعياً على

    أنقاض ما هدمت من الأعمار

    She runs recklessly towards her desires

    Over the debris of collapsed buildings.

  11. نصبت حبالتها وأنذرت الردى

    وكأننا صمم عن الانذار

    She laid her traps and forewarned of loss,

    Yet we are deaf to all warnings.

  12. صدعت بما جبلت عليه ولم تدع

    ذكرى ولا عظة وراء ستار

    She was created for the wisdom she was created for,

    And she continues to follow the call of the Compeller.

  13. شر الغرور سكون ذي بصر إلى

    عيش تمزقه يد الأخطار

    Bound by the yoke of destiny, led

    By the decree of the Chosen.

  14. عبر تلونها الصروف وأنفس

    تفنى وآثار على آثار

    He has written permanence exclusively for Himself

    By slaying the living and withering the blossoms.

  15. هل زاد عيشك ذرة عن هذه

    لو كنت في الدنيا على استبصار

    When you contemplate your worldly life you’ll find

    That life itself excuses transgressions.

  16. هلا اعتبرت وفي حياتك عبرة

    مما تصرفه يد المقدار

    Caught between battles, hoping

    For a remainder for those who see.

  17. لا تستمر لك السلامة لمحة

    وغوائل الأيام في استمرار

    If shared, the pious would abandon

    The army of death, even virtuous souls.

  18. ما بالنا نبكي الفقيد ونحن من

    حب الذي أرداه في استهتار

    O stroke of death, you have afflicted our elite

    And left our nation without its best!

  19. شغف النفوس بما يراقبه الفنا

    أثر الهوى ومحبة الأوطار

    Not to mention the extinguishing of the lights of guidance,

    Darkness has overwhelmed, in which the guided are lost.

  20. جسر المنون أمام وجهك عابر

    ولسوف تعبره مع السفار

    Not to mention the suppression of the learned and pious,

    For religion cannot survive without its devoted scholars.

  21. شمر لتعبره مخفا سالماً

    من ثقل ما أوقرت من أوزار

    Not to mention the killing of the valiant knights,

    For nothing remains of valor or protection of neighbors.

  22. ليس العظات بما يقول مذكر

    مثل العظات بمصرع الأعمار

    Woe! It has emptied the lands of loved ones;

    They were successors to the Way of the Chosen One.

  23. كم للمنون لو اعتبرنا من يد

    في سلبها الأرواح بالتذكار

    Woe! Where are its heavens and its stars?

    Its suns have gone like yesterday's caravan.

  24. ما الحزن الفتنا لمقصود الردى

    يغتال في الايراد والأصدار

    It has taken every finest polished pearl,

    Each a towering mountain peak.

  25. أترى يجد البين فينا هازلاً

    ويريحنا بمصارع الأخيار

    The pillars of faith, its axis and balance,

    The oceans of nobility, the most luminous of stars.

  26. كلا ولكن الحياة بهيمة

    تجري عليها مدية الجزار

    The universes shine with their mystical knowledge

    As the sun lights up the horizons of all lands.

  27. خلقت لما خلقت له من حكمة

    وتعود تتبع دعوة الجبار

    They were consumed by glorification and chanting praises,

    And extolling the Majestic in the late night hours.

  28. مزمومة نير القضاء يقودها

    مربوبة لمشيئة المختار

    When darkness descends, their banner is obscured,

    They soar to the Kingdoms bearing mysteries.

  29. كتب البقاء لنفسه مستأثراً

    بإماتة الأحياء والأنشار

    If darkness prostrates across the sky,

    They prostrate upon the earth like unmoving mountains.

  30. وإذا اعتبرت حياتك الدنيا تجد

    أن الحياة مظنة الأعذار

    Weeping split open their hearts, as though

    They had placed the clouds in place of their lashes.

  31. ما بين معركة وأخرى يبتغي

    أملاً لباقية ذوو الأبصار

    They offered their souls in sacrifice, and found their joy

    In cycles of prayer and remembrance.

  32. لو كان يشترك البقاء لغادرت

    غيل المنية أنفس الأبرار

    They encompassed Sacred Law, Truth, Gnosis and Perfection

    Within their purest beings.

  33. يا صرعة الموت انتقرت خيارنا

    وتركت أمتنا بغير خيار

    They are the salvation of creation, their secret

    Is the sustenance of souls and the source of light.

  34. ناهيك من إطفاء أنوار الهدى

    غشى الظلام وضل فيه الساري

    Fate has transported them from the abode of annihilation,

    And they came to rest in endless bliss.

  35. ناهيك من اعدام أحبار التقى

    فالدين لا يبقى بلا أحبار

    They walked the path of righteousness in life and death,

    For they succeeded in following the way of the righteous.

  36. ناهيك من قعص السراة فإنهم

    سور لدين المصطفى وسواري

    They have gone, and for those left behind

    The earth is but dust after their trace is gone.

  37. ناهيك من هلك الكرام فما بقي

    رسم الكرام ولا حماة الجار

    O Death, you have finished off loved ones, so be sparing

    If you have pity on the flowing tears of the free.

  38. ويلاه أوحشت الديار من الألى

    كانوا خلائف سنة المختار

    With those righteous ones you were honored,

    With those righteous ones you triumphed!

  39. أو كلما نجمت فضيلة سيد

    قدرتها وتراً من الأوتار

    I was helpless when calamity struck,

    And they, when the path was obscured, were my guiding stars.

  40. أسرعت في الأغواث والأقطاب

    والاعلام والابدال والأخيار

    You took the al-Kathm al-Deen and snatched the heavens away,

    So the flowing tears poured down in lament.

  41. مهلاً فما أبقيت ثم بقية

    نزح القطين وجف روض الدار

    And you took the hearts of the party of Muhammad -

    What loss in that taking!

  42. ما زلت تعتقرين كل أعزتي

    فالجو خاو والديار عواري

    No horror on the Day of Resurrection will be greater

    Than the horror of this mournful eulogy for the Leader of the Righteous.

  43. أفقدتني شهب الفضائل كلهم

    ويلاه من شهبي ومن أقماري

    Scholar of the age, pillar of knowledge, treasury of mysteries,

    Beacon whose light filled the void.

  44. ويلاه أين سماؤها ونجومها

    وشموسها ذهبوا كأمس الجاري

    Lion of battle, epitome of virtue, who raised

    The banner and ignited the beacons.

  45. من كل أروع لوذعي كامل

    يهتر عرفاً كالقنا الخطار

    Savior of the Bisitun, teacher of the world,

    Protector of the oppressed, my Master and intimate friend.

  46. عمد الديانة قطبها قوامها

    سحب المكارم أبحر الأنوار

    Guardian of the precinct of Islam, its authority,

    Sword of the faith that cuts sharp.

  47. تتلألأ الأكوان من عرفانهم

    كالشمس تملأ هيكل الأقطار

    Ocean of knowledge and perfection, his deeds

    Righteous through moments of retreat and advance.

  48. أنضاهم التسبيح والترتيل

    والتهجيد بين جوانح الأسحار

    As-Sulami, my father Muhammad, exalted in name,

    A towering mountain of glory, shining moon.

  49. خبت إذا جن الظلام رايتهم

    طاروا إلى الملكوت بالأسرار

    It marches on, frightening and disturbing,

    While the night grows dark and the wolves howl.

  50. غر إذا سجد الظلام على الفضا

    سجدوا على الثفنات كالأحجار

    Wait! Bold guardian of righteousness, what

    Horrifying and dreadful events have you left behind?

  51. قطع النحيب صدورهم وكأنما

    وضعوا السحائب موضع الأشفار

    You established it then empowered it, but then you abandoned it -

    How prolonged has been your absence from the journey!

  52. قربانهم أرواحهم ونعيمهم

    دأب على السبحات والاذكار

    Return to it, though few remain to protect it.

    Return, your life I implore - O stranger to your land!

  53. حصروا الشريعة والحقيقة والمعا

    رف والكمال بأنفس الأطهار

    Return to Islam, complete its victory,

    For glory comes through the resolve of its supporters.

  54. فهم غياث الكائنات وسرهم

    مدد النفوس ومنبع الأنوار

    Return, for righteousness has been widowed -

    Have mercy on your orphan, the religion of the Lord.

  55. نقلتهم الآجال من درا الفنا

    وتبؤوا سعداء عقبى الدار

    Return and witness how the swords have wept,

    And the honey bees, the pens, and the pages.

  56. سلكوا بمحياهم وبعد مماتهم

    إذ وفقوا بمسالك الأبرار

    Return, though I do not think you have bartered

    Your station with your Lord for the company of evildoers.

  57. درجوا وأصبحت العراص عقيبهم

    من فقدهم مغبرة الآثار

    I call you to clarity though you are its utmost,

    My pact with you, passionate defender.

  58. يا موت أفنيت الأعزة فاقتصد

    إن كنت ترحم عبرة الأحرار

    I call you to the cause you are called to

    By the resolve of men and pride of the noble.

  59. بأولئك الأبرار كنت معززاً

    بأولئك الأبرار كنت أباري

    I call you to the path shining bright

    In view of the wise and piercing eyes.

  60. أزرى إذا ضاق الخناق بحادث

    وهم إذا انطمس الطريق مناري

    I call you, as my hands are emptied

    Of all who might substitute and guard the reserve.

  61. يا موت وقعت فيهم سلب الهنا

    وأقامني للنوح والتذكار

    I call you, if you hear my prayer,

    With words of guidance and warning.

  62. ترك الحمام النوح إذ ناوحته

    واستبردت كبدي لهيب النار

    I call you for holy war and you sufficed alone

    As a force in its decisive moments.

  63. لم أسلهم حتى رزئت بصدعة

    أخذت بقية سالف الأكدار

    I call you to the Qur'an, reveal its mysteries

    And clarify its obscurities.

  64. أخذت بكظم الدين وانتحت السما

    فبكت لها بالمدمع المدرار

    I call you to the brilliant Model, it has lost

    Sight of its purposes and wisdom.

  65. واستأثرت بقلوب حزب محمد

    للّه فجعة ذاك الاستئثار

    I call you to consensus, rulings, religions,

    Remembrance and commemoration.

  66. ما الهول في يوم النشور أشد من

    هول النعى بسيد الأبرار

    Alas no return! For the tablets of stone

    Now cover you with their inscriptions.

  67. العالم القطب المجدد عمدة الع

    لماء طراً كعبة الأسرار

    They travel the lands after their companions are gone,

    And the sorrow of my loss in you endures.

  68. ليث المعارك مربع الفضل الذي

    رفع المنار ولات حين منار

    O dawn, hide your light from us

    And don the mourning clothes, O horizon of light!

  69. غوث البسيطة معلم الدنيا

    أبيّ الضيم مولانا عزيز الجار

    Two noble books that guided to righteousness

    Have increased my heart's unrest through their loss.

  70. حامي حمى الاسلام حجته

    مع الدين سيف الملة البتار

    You were my supporter; I had the patience of granite -

    But in my patience, and in my arms, I was struck.

  71. بحر المعارف والكمال مسدد الأ

    عمال في الاقبال والادبار

    You granted me resilience to withstand my calamity,

    Yet today I have no fortitude or acceptance of fate.

  72. السالمي أبي محمد المني

    ف الذكر طود المجد بدر الساري

    Let alone accepting fate and finding peace

    In that the Ordained is inevitable.

  73. تمضي وترسلها العراك مروعة

    والليل داج والذئاب ضواري

    And that man is prey to the claws

    Of events under the grip of fate.

  74. مهلاً همام الاستقامة ما الذي

    غادرت من هول ومن اذعار

    No tear has left my eye but I have seen

    Its equal from a sympathy or a consolation.

  75. قومتها فتقوت فهجرتها

    يا هجرة طالت على السفار

    No mourning woman listens to her neighbor mourning -

    She prepares her own mourning in the house.

  76. ارجع إليها حيث قل حماتها

    ارجع فديتك يا غريب الدار

    Tell yourself you will live a long life,

    Yet it is a stretch until the final place.

  77. ارجع إلى الاسلام تمم نصره

    فالعز تحت عزائم الأنصار

    Those misfortunes hunt their prey,

    It matters not whether awake or asleep.

  78. ارجع فإن الاستقامة أرملت

    ارحم يتيمك وهو دين الباري

    I examined the nature of circumstances with my inner sight,

    And probed with insight all that destiny decrees.

  79. ارجع تشاهد كيف دمع السيف

    والعسال والأقلام والأسفار

    I saw the blessing of life is beneficence in bereavement,

    And solace in submitting to the Lord’s decree.

  80. ارجع وما ظني بأنك مشتر

    بجوار ربك جبرة الأشرار

    O You who melted the rock with anguish over loss,

    Whom have you left to the care of the noble ones?

  81. أدعوك للجلى وأنت عظيمها

    عهدي وأنت لها شديد الغار

    You distributed grief between homeland and religion,

    Apportioning it like acts of worship in intervals.

  82. أدعوك للأمر الذي تدعى له

    شيم الرجال وهمة الأحرار

    You called to Islam with utter sincerity -

    The clear-sighted remain loyal to this call.

  83. أدعوك للخط الذي أعيا على

    رأي الفحول وانفذ الأنظار

    Loyal to you, the knights of the Yemeni lion

    And the Nizar lion, since the days of martyrdom.

  84. أدعوك إذ فرغت يدي من كل من

    يدعى لنائبة وحفظ ذمار

    They loved death and struggled for guidance

    Since the days of (the battles of) Siffeen and Dar.

  85. أدعوك إن كنت السميع لدعوتي

    لخطابة التبشير والأنذار

    You trained their ribs in the hot coals of wrath,

    Out of love for their Lord and fear of hellfire.

  86. أدعوك للحرب العوان وكنت في

    لهواتها تكفي كفاء الغار

    They were angry for God, so they exercised restraint,

    United upon the guidance of Umar ibn al-Khattab.

  87. أدعوك للقرآن تكشف سره

    وتبين منه غوامض الأسرار

    Certitude filled their hearts, so amidst certitude

    They deemed the gravest dangers insignificant.

  88. أدعوك للسنن المنيرة إنها افت

    قرت مقاصدها إلى الأبصار

    The resolve of its pillars was their restraint -

    Religion they maintained, dishonor they disdained.

  89. أدعوك للاجماع والأحكام وال

    أديان والتذكير والتذكار

    They sold their souls to please their Lord,

    Profitable was their sale, and excellent the Buyer!

  90. هيهات يا أسفاه لا رجعى وقد

    جثمت عليك صحائف الأحجار

    They offered themselves to bear the burdens of leadership,

    Two noble scions equipped for the task.

  91. يسون بالآثار بعد صحابها

    ومثار حزني فيك بالآثار

    Yours is grace, nobility and piety,

    Your shining forehead reveals the light of daybreak.

  92. يا طلعة الشمس استري عنا الضيا

    وخذي الحداد مشارق الأنوار

    Heir of the laudable deeds of the sons of Kaʿb,

    Inheritor from your purified ancestors.

  93. سفران إن هديا لرشد ارشدا

    من فجعتي قلبي لغير وقار

    You assumed the imamate - fully capable - from predecessor to successor,

    You picked fruits from the most splendid trees.

  94. كنت النصير كان لي صبر الحصا

    فأصبت في صبري وفي أنصاري

    Its rulers recognized you as the one to establish order and adorn its crown,

    Though long they were in denial.

  95. أقدرت لي جلداً يقاوم نكبتي

    فاليوم لا جلدي ولا أقداري

    It sought refuge in you so you gave it refuge and sustained it,

    The exemplar of balance and justice.

  96. ناهيك من جلدي يقيني بالرضا

    والسخط في أن المقدر جاري

    It surrendered to your vision,

    Eternal favor from your guiding star.

  97. وبأن هذا المرء عرضة طارف ال

    حدثان تحت مخالب الأقدار

    With resolve and discretion you led it,

    Achieving miracles that dazzled sights.

  98. ما غاض من عيني رأيت عديله

    من طرف داجية وطرف نهار

    A blossom between the Sulamis and the Peaceful One,

    Raised among its protective noble brothers.

  99. لم تصغ نادبة لندبة جارها

    هي تستعد لندبة في الدار

    She could not fully give thanks until she regained

    Patience for the loss of the patient and thankful one.

  100. سول لنفسك أن تعيش معمراً

    لكنه أمد إلى مضمار

    Patience, O Leader of Muslims, for it

    Is fated that the Ordained affects all creation.

  101. تلك المصائب مدركات صيدها

    سيان في فر وفي استقرار

    Patience, for patience and emulating you

    Is incumbent, even destiny's rulings.

  102. أمعنت في هذي الصروف بصيرتي

    وسبرت ما تقضيه بالمسبار

    May God have mercy on beloved ones who have departed,

    And grief for them remained my inconstant companion.

  103. فرأيت برد العيش احسان العزا

    والاطمنانة تحت حكم الباري

    It was not in my hopes to remain after them,

    To live in longing and remembrance.

  104. يا من أذاب الصخر حر مصابه

    من ذا تركت لدولة الأحرار

    But events claim their time,

    And fate arrives precisely.

  105. وزعت بين الدين والوطن الأسى

    توزيعك الطاعات في الأطوار

    They turned away from worldliness, and I have turned in passion -

    Vastly different is their abode from mine.

  106. ودعوت في الاسلام دعوة مخلص

    ثابت إليك بها ذوو الأبصار

    The Maidens weep for them, for those who were virtuous,

    While they smile at the wide-eyed maidens of Paradise.

  107. ثابت إليك عصائب وهبيه

    من أسد ذي يمن وأسد نزار

    I am condemned to never cease lamenting their traces

    As long as my eyes rain tears like the solid mountains.

  108. عشقوا المنايا واستماتوا في الهدى

    من قبل صفين ويوم الدار

    I grieve and my thoughts keep flowing

    With sorrows and pains.

  109. حنيت ضلوعهم على جمر الغضى

    من حب ربهم وخوف النار

    Their memory is my solace, and the cure of my heart,

    Through love of them the fires within are extinguished.

  110. غضبوا لربهم فشدوا شدة

    متكاتفين على هدى عمار

    In their lives and their deaths is their mystery

    That conveys its gifts to my innermost being.

  111. ملأ اليقين صدورهم فاستصغروا

    عند اليقين عظائم الأخطار

    They have gone, and after them came the Sulami

    To revive tradition with his flowing speech.

  112. لعزائم الأعيان فيهم وازع

    ديناً وحاشاهم لزوم العار

    The gardens regained vitality and brilliance

    With the blossoming of the Radiant Model, not just flowers.

  113. باعوا لمرضاة الاله نفوسهم

    اربح ببيعتهم ونعم الشاري

    Fate destined him to the House of Eternity,

    And excellent the house that replaced his house!

  114. ورضوا لأعباء الخلافة كفأها

    سبطالنجاد موفق الأنظار

    God gave life to his tomb with spirit and sweet herbs,

    With roots and seeds.

  115. فلك الجلالة والنبالة والتقى

    يبدي المحيا عن ضياء نهار

    O year, do not distance the deceased, the crown of faith, the knot of glory,

    The affliction is tremendous, shocking.

  116. ورث المهنا وابن كعب وارثاً

    والصلت من أجداده الأطهار

    O year, do not repeat your blows!

    Your one strike for the Compeller is enough.

  117. أخذ الامامة كابراً عن كابر

    أخذ الثمار جواهر الأشجار

    Have mercy on the people of God, accumulated

    Dangers have overwhelmed dangers.

  118. عرفته عاهلها ومفرق تاجها

    ولطالما لغبت من الانكار

    O year, you have shattered the edifice of faith

    Like a fire with spreading flames and sparks.

  119. عاذت به فأعاذها وأقامها

    عمرية الميزان والمعيار

    You extinguished the brilliant celestial body that filled the sky with light,

    And brought the darkness of sorrows.

  120. رقبته حتى أمكنتها نظرة

    أزلية من نجمه السيار

    You sealed for him the finest end as he met His Lord,

    Welcomed for the honor of the pure.

  121. فاقتادها عزماً وحزماً آتيا

    بمعاجز طمست عن الأبصار

    He renounced the world, starving his stomach of it

    Save what was apportioned by the Lord.

  122. زهراء بين السالمي وسالم

    نشأت وبين حماتها الأخيار

    O You who answered the two calls to his Lord!

    Why do you not reply to my call and visit?

  123. لم توف حق الشكر حتى استرجعت

    صبراً بفقد الصابر الشكار

    The covenants of Islam lack resonance after you,

    And your legacy glitters like the stars at night.

  124. صبراً إمام المسلمين فإنه

    حكم على كل البرية جاري

    You sanctified Gowharshad and Mashhad,

    The worlds of light envied it for your sake.

  125. صبراً فعنك الصبر والتأساء يؤ

    خذ بل وكل فضائل الأحرار

    The shrine thrives alongside life, but alas

    After death, when will it be my pilgrimage site?

  126. ما دامت الدنيا على أحد ولا

    دامت على السراء والأضرار

    What joy to rub my brow

    Upon that fragrant, perfumed earth!

  127. عارية هذي النفوس ولازم

    أن يسترد العدل كل معار

    O promised one of the Merciful, what station

    And fellowship did you attain in Eden?

  128. ومواهب الأيام حرص كلها

    إذ سوف تنزعها بغير خيار

    You dwell securely among the stations of martyrs

    Until you were satisfied our cries subsided.

  129. ولبئس عيش ريثما استحليته

    كرت عليه غارة الأغيار

    You took a single bound to the realm of obedience like a bird,

    And entered the precincts of Jaʿfar al-Tayyar.

  130. لا يستقر له اللبيب لأنه

    وقفت شَعوبُ له بباب الدار

    You sold life and attained a profitable sale,

    Though life kept its loss from us.

  131. رأت البصائر ما يعاقب عيشنا

    فالرأي أن نحيا على استبصار

    By God, what a tradition it is to herald you,

    Yet for us it burns like fire in a tempest!

  132. يا شعر أجمل في الرثاء فإن لي

    قلباً من الأحزان كالأعشار

    Its date - how long will the love of loss endure?

    Patience is best, O wise one.

  133. هل زاد في الخنساء إلا كربها

    شعر تردده ولبس صدار

  134. يا صبر إن قر الأحبة في الثرى

    فأثبت لدي ولا تمل قراري

  135. لا خل إلا الصبر بعد فراقهم

    إن لم يزله نازل الأقدار

  136. رحم الاله أحبة غادرتهم

    ولزمت صحبة دهري الغدار

  137. ما كان في أملي التخلف بعدهم

    والعيش في الأشجان والتذكار

  138. لكنه الحدثان يطلب وقته

    ومنية تأتي على مقدار

  139. عرجوا عن الدنيا وأعرج في الهوى

    شتان بين قرارهم وقراري

  140. تبكيهم الحسنى إلى من أحسنوا

    ويضاحكون الحور في الأجبار

  141. آليت لا أنفك أندب أثرهم

    ما دام تذرف أعين الأحجار

  142. آسي وأجرح ما تكن خواطري

    بنوازع الأحزان والأكدار

  143. مددي بهم وشفاء قلبي ذكرهم

    وبحبهم يطفى لهيب أواري

  144. بحياتهم ومماتهم أسرارهم

    توحي مواهبها إلى أسراري

  145. درجوا وجاء السالمي عقيبهم

    يحيي الرسوم بسيبه المدرار

  146. حتى تدافعت الرياض نضارة

    بالسنة الزهراء لا الأزهار

  147. حتم المصير له إلى دار البقا

    كافيك منها بطشة الجبار

    أخطار ملتهم على أخطار

  153. يا عام أزهقت الديانة خطة

    كالنار ذات ذوائب وشرار

  154. أطفأت أزهر كوكب ملأ الفضا

    ضوءاً وجئت بظلمة الأكدار

  155. ختمت له الحسنى ووافى ربه

    متقبلاً لمزية الأطهار

  156. عفا عن الدنيا خميصاً بطنه

    منها سوى ما كان سهم الباري

  157. يا من أجاب الدعوتين لربه

    لم لا تلبي دعوتي وجواري

  158. لمعاهد الاسلام بعدك رنة

    وعهود فضلك كالنجوم سواري

  159. قدست من غوث وقدس مشهداً

    غبطته فيك عوالم الأنوار

  160. شط المزار مع الحياة وويلتا

    بعد الممات متى يكون مزاري

  161. ومن السعادة أن أمرغ جبهتي

    بعبير تلك التربة المعطار

  162. يا وافد الرحمن أيّ كرامة

    لقيت في عدن وأيّ جوار

  163. بمنازل الشهداء ترتع آمناً

    حتى رضيت لخوفنا الكرار

  164. حلقت للطاعات خطفة طائر

    فحللت مسرح جعفر الطيار

  165. بعت الحياة فنلت أربح بيعة

    لكنها رجعت لنا بخسار

  166. للّه ما سنة لك البشرى بها

    ولنا بها كالنار في اعصار

  167. تأريخها ما طال ما لحب الردى
