اللّه أكبر حق اكبر للّه
والقهر والجبر يا والعز للّه
Allah is the Greatest in truth
Power and destiny belong to Allah
اللّه أكبر ذو القدر العلي رفي
ع المجد لا مجد إلا وهو للّه
Allah is the Greatest, the Lofty Ordainer
Exalted in glory, no glory except His glory
اللّه أكبر أهل الكبرياء عظي
م الملك حقية الاكبار للّه
Allah is the Greatest, Lord of Majesty
Great in dominion, greatness belongs to Allah
اللّه أكبر ذو العرش المجيد مني
ع العز لا عز إلا وهو للّه
Allah is the Greatest, of the Glorious Throne
Forbidding glory, no glory but His glory
اللّه أكبر ذو البطش الشديد عزي
ز الانتقام من العاصين للّه
Allah is the Greatest, of Severe Might
Taking vengeance on the disobedient for Allah
اللّه أكبر رب لا شريك له
ولا ظهير ولا أشياء للّه
Allah is the Greatest, Lord without partner
Neither supporter nor likeness to Allah
اللّه أكبر عدل قائم ملك
حق كما يجب التكبير للّه
Allah is the Greatest, Just King
As magnification rightfully belongs to Allah
اللّه أكبر حقاً ذو الجلال وذو ال
اكرام تكبير ذات اللّه للّه
Allah is the Greatest in truth, of Majesty and Bounty
Magnifying the Being of Allah belongs to Allah
اللّه أكبر تكبيراً لعزته
كما يحب ويرضى اللّه للّه
Allah is the Greatest, magnifying His Might
As He loves and accepts, belongs to Allah
اللّه أكبر تكبيراً بما جمعت
صفاته من سمات الكبر للّه
Allah is the Greatest, magnifying what
His attributes unite of qualities of greatness for Allah
اللّه أكبر تكبيراً بما سفرت
أسماؤه من عظيم القدر للّه
Allah is the Greatest, magnifying what
His Names display of tremendous Ordainment for Allah
اللّه أكبر تكبيراً بما نطقت
أفعاله من كمال الكبر للّه
Allah is the Greatest, magnifying what
His deeds articulate of perfect greatness for Allah
اللّه أكبر ايماناً بوحدته
في الذات والنسب العليا إلى اللّه
Allah is the Greatest, believing in His Oneness
In Essence and sublime relation to Allah
اللّه أكبر اعظاماً لرتبته
تعاظمت كل شيء رتبة اللّه
Allah is the Greatest, revering His Rank
Everything is lesser in rank to Allah
اللّه أكبر عن تكبير صنعته
فوق العبارات كبراً عزة اللّه
Allah is the Greatest, beyond praising His making
Above expressions, the greatness of Allah's Might
اللّه أكبر عن اطراء مدحتنا
أصغر باطرائنا في جانب اللّه
Allah is the Greatest, beyond complimenting His praise
Our praises fall short before Allah
اللّه أكبر عن وهم وعن فكر
حسب النهى درك أن لا درك للّه
Allah is the Greatest, beyond conception and thought
As prohibited, know there is no conceiving Allah
اللّه أكبر عن علم يحيط به
العلم بالكنه مما اختص باللّه
Allah is the Greatest, beyond surrounding knowledge
Knowledge of the essence is Allah's exclusively
اللّه أكبر عن كنه يحل وعن
حلول اغيار عين الذات باللّه
Allah is the Greatest, beyond an essence to encompass
Or others' indwelling, the Being is Allah's
اللّه أكبر عن فقر إلى صفة
سواه في السلب والايجاب للّه
Allah is the Greatest, needing no other quality
In negation or affirmation, belongs to Allah
اللّه أكبر عن كيف وهل ولما
تقدس اللّه لا تعليل للّه
Allah is the Greatest, beyond how, why and when
Allah is Holy, no cause for Allah
اللّه أكبر عن حد وعن وجهة
وعن مقابلة الأشياء للّه
Allah is the Greatest, beyond limit, aspect
Or facing creation, belongs to Allah
اللّه أكبر عن نقص يؤثره
درك العيون ودرك العقل في اللّه
Allah is the Greatest, beyond flaw the eyes
Or intellect can grasp of Allah
اللّه أكبر عن علم يجزئه
تغاير الحدث المصنوع للّه
Allah is the Greatest, beyond knowledge bounded
By contrast in originated things of Allah
اللّه أكبر عن علم على حدث
ترك الارادة عن علم من اللّه
Allah is the Greatest, beyond knowledge of events
Beyond will, a knowledge belonging to Allah
اللّه أكبر عن جهل بذي علم
ومستحيل تعالت غيرة اللّه
Allah is the Greatest, above unknowns for the Knower
Unpassible is Allah's jealousy
اللّه أكبر عن حال وعن غير
إن البلى عرض في محدث اللّه
Allah is the Greatest, beyond states or change
Events are attributes of Allah's origination
اللّه أكبر عن خلف الوعيد وعن
تبدل القول في وعد من اللّه
Allah is the Greatest, keeping promises and
Unchanging word in Allah's oaths
اللّه أكبر عن شغل يضايقه
بشأن أخر عن شأن من اللّه
Allah is the Greatest, beyond distraction
From one affair to another of Allah's
اللّه أكبر عن أمر يعارضه
أمر يد الغلب والتنفيذ للّه
Allah is the Greatest, no order contends
The power of His command and decree
اللّه أكبر عن فوت لثقل هبا
ء عز عن حصر قيومية اللّه
Allah is the Greatest, beyond lapse for burden
Of glory, beyond encompassing Allah's subsistence
اللّه أكبر عن ولد وصاحبة
ووالد وعن التقسيم للّه
Allah is the Greatest, beyond child, consort
Parent, or division, belongs to Allah
اللّه أكبر عن ايجاب موجبة
ذات الوجوب وجوب الذات للّه
Allah is the Greatest, beyond causation necessitating
The essence of necessity necessitates Allah's essence
اللّه أكبر عن فضل وعن صلة
خصائص الدرك نافت عزة اللّه
Allah is the Greatest, beyond excellence, relation
The limits of conception deny Allah's Might
اللّه أكبر جداً أن يمانعه
جد فما عز ذو جد على اللّه
Allah is the Greatest, tremendously beyond
A likeness that contends; what glory contends with Allah?
اللّه أكبر جداً أن يقيده
فقر لشيء تعالت غنية اللّه
Allah is the Greatest, tremendously beyond
Need binding Him; Allah's Self-Sufficiency is exalted
اللّه أكبر جداً أن يغالب في
سلطانه بقضاء ليس للّه
Allah is the Greatest, tremendously beyond
Defeat of His dominion by ordainment not Allah's
اللّه أكبر جداً أن أذل ولي
من عز تكبيره حصن من اللّه
Allah is the Greatest, tremendously no protector
Is abased whom His magnification fortifies
اللّه أكبر ملكاً إن أمد إلى
غناه كفى فلا أحظى من اللّه
Allah is the Greatest in dominion, if extended
To wealth, "Enough" protects me from Allah
اللّه أكبر وهباً إن أقل على
مواهب اللّه والحسنى من اللّه
Allah is the Greatest in giving, if decreased
From Allah's blessings and bounty, belongs to Allah
اللّه أكبر وسعاً أن يضايقني
سوء وأوسع شيء رحمة اللّه
Allah is the Greatest, encompassing if
Evil constrained me; Allah's mercy is greatest
اللّه أكبر جوداً أن يحملني
فقراً إلى الخلق والاعطاء للّه
Allah is the Greatest in kindness, if
Poverty burdened me; giving belongs to Allah
اللّه أكبر لطفاً أني يقيدني
سوء الجدود وآفاتي عن اللّه
Allah is the Greatest in subtlety, if
Ill nature constrained me from Allah
اللّه أكبر قهراً أن تعبدني
نفسي لسلطانها عن خدمة اللّه
Allah is the Greatest in domination if
My self enslaved me from serving Allah
اللّه أكبر حفظاً أن يغادرني
مسترسلاً للهوى عن خشية اللّه
Allah is the Greatest in safekeeping if
Abandoned to passions, not fearing Allah
اللّه أكبر احساناً وتربية
من أن أزائل طوراً صبغة اللّه
Allah is the Greatest in benefaction and nurturing
If I turn from Allah's dye an instant
اللّه أكبر براً أن أقوم له
فلا تبارك اخلاصي يد اللّه
Allah is the Greatest in devotion, if I stand
Without blessing, Allah's loyal bond
اللّه أكبر منا أن يرى ولهي
فانثني عنه مطروداً عن اللّه
Allah is the Greatest in disavowal, if I see
Rejection, expelled from Allah
اللّه أكبر حلماً أن يؤاخذني
بما اقترفت وقد أخلصت للّه
Allah is the Greatest in forbearance, if He takes me
To account when I strove loyally for Allah
اللّه أكبر عفواً أن يعذبني
وقد تنصلت من ذنبي إلى اللّه
Allah is the Greatest in pardon, if He punishes me
When absolved of my sins toward Allah
اللّه أكبر صفحاً أن أخر له
مستصغراً فأرى مقتاً من اللّه
Allah is the Greatest in clemency, if I delay
For Him belittled, seeing hatred from Allah
اللّه أكبر معروفاً وفاضل
أن يوحش العبد بعد الأنس باللّه
Allah is the Greatest in favor, exalted
If the servant feels desolate after intimacy with Allah
اللّه أكبر تكريماً لمقترب
تقرب العبد تقريب من اللّه
Allah is the Greatest in honor of one brought near
The servant's drawing near, near to Allah
اللّه أكبر ما أحفى عواطفه
بعائذ بائس راج من اللّه
Allah is the Greatest, what intimacy His sentiments grant
To a desperate refugee finding Allah
اللّه أكبر ما أوحى اغاثته
للمستغيث من الاسواء باللّه
Allah is the Greatest, what His inspiration grants
For help to the anguished from ordeals, by Allah
اللّه أكبر ما أدنى لطائفه
من لاجىء في بلاياه إلى اللّه
Allah is the Greatest, how He draws near
To the refugee in his afflictions to Allah
اللّه أكبر ما أولى مراحمه
بحل عقدة مضطر إلى اللّه
Allah is the Greatest, what mercy He bestows
In relieving the bonds of one compelled to Allah
اللّه أكبر ما أسنى جوائزه
لمادح اللّه لا يرجو سوى اللّه
Allah is the Greatest, what bounty His prizes grant
To one praising Allah, desiring only Allah
اللّه أكبر ما أجدى عوارفه
لباسط القول بالتمجيد للّه
Allah is the Greatest, what intimacy His gnosis grants
To the speaker of glorification for Allah
اللّه أكبر ما أوفى مكارمه
لتارك الخلق معطي الحق للّه
Allah is the Greatest, what loyalty His generosity grants
To one leaving creation, giving rights to Allah
اللّه أكبر ما أحرى عنايته
لمن تمسك في الأطوار باللّه
Allah is the Greatest, what care His providence grants
To one, in all states, clinging to Allah
اللّه أكبر ما أعلى أياديه
تبارك اللّه تمت نعمة اللّه
Allah is the Greatest, what exalts His hands -
Blessed is Allah, complete are the favors of Allah
اللّه أكبر أصلحني وصل على
محمد وأجزني الحب باللّه
Allah is the Greatest, make me righteous, bless
Muhammad, and grant me love for Allah
