  1. My God, mighty in essence, owing Your might to no one

    Who could strengthen Your essence, nor to any supporting force.

  2. My God, mighty in attributes, beyond a seeker's grasp

    And beyond the escape of one pursued, beyond any weakening of might.

  3. My God, mighty in presence, bounty, and permanence

    Beyond changing states, exhaustion, and the passing of years.

  4. My God, mighty in dominion, command, and wealth

    Beyond opposition, reversal, and need.

  5. My God, Your judgment is surely beyond a change of mind

    Beyond challenge or amendment in any matter.

  6. My God, mighty in support, shelter, and protection

    Exalted in height, rank, and protective care.

  7. My God, mighty in power, victory, and sway

    No lofty stronghold shelters one who seeks protection from You.

  8. I seek refuge beside Your might while oppression surrounds

    My humbled self; rise to my aid, O Mighty One, with protective zeal.

  9. I seek refuge in enduring might while dire poverty bears down

    On my face; be there for me, O Mighty One, when I am absent.

  10. I seek refuge in Your overpowering might while my adversary overcomes

    My strength; support me, O Mighty One, for the sake of my dignity.

  11. By Your supreme might, clothe me in the honor of my humility

    Before You, and do not make me humble myself before anyone else.
