  1. My God, the Truth, I have witnessed none but God.

    And there is no true deity but God.

  2. My God, the Truth: oneness preceded

    Divinity, which belongs to the One, God.

  3. My God, the Truth: this matter is not shared.

    Rather, You are You; exalted is the oneness of God.

  4. My God, the Truth: there is no rival or adversary,

    No equal or likeness to God.

  5. My God, the Truth: no beginning and no end;

    Beginning and ending are both works of God.

  6. My God, the Truth: an essence unlike an attribute

    Or a substance; pure perfection belongs to God.

  7. My God, the Truth: a dominion with no partner;

    The partner is impossible, and sovereignty belongs to God.

  8. My God, the Truth: a command none can dispute;

    Command belongs to God, and governance belongs to God.

  9. My God, the Truth: a decree none can overturn;

    Judgment belongs to God, and direction belongs to God.

  10. My God, the Truth: a might forever prevailing,

    And power made manifest in the work of God.

  11. My God, the Truth: a glory that never wanes;

    The glory of divinity and authority belongs to God.

  12. My God, the Truth: knowledge that never began;

    A thing may be nonexistent, yet knowledge belongs to God.

  13. My God, the Truth: creation without a cause,

    And wisdom veiled by the encompassing reach of God.

  14. My God, the Truth: sustaining power embraced

    Creation, held fast in the grasp of God.

  15. My God, the Truth: a power beyond which there is no power,

    And no strength can rival the strength of God.

  16. My God, the Truth: nothing has overcome Him in opposition,

    Nor can anything impossible constrain God.

  17. My God, the Truth: no command of His is obscure;

    In truth, these are signs from God.

  18. My God, the Truth: His is the great affair; all affairs

    Of creation submit to the oneness of God.

  19. My God, the Truth: a majesty without bounds;

    Majesty and greatness belong to God.

  20. My God, the Truth: a singularity toward which yearns

    In humility and need the nature fashioned by God.

  21. My God, the Truth: in every particle of existence are

    Witnesses to the making and forming of God.

  22. My God, the Truth: through its traces, creation sees

    With certainty the agency of God.

  23. My God, the Truth: destinies and decrees

    Come from one source, the wisdom of God.

  24. My God, the Truth: this creation is ordered

    In its perfections by the oneness of God.

  25. My God, the Truth: were power shared, they would differ—

    Those wills divided by partnership with God.

  26. My God, the Truth: sovereignty without a purpose

    That could govern it; exalted is the proof of God.

  27. My God, the Truth: what is left to the will and what is

    Chosen for existence are both judgments belonging to God.

  28. My God, the Truth: You decree what You will, and nothing

    Among things can decree anything over God.

  29. My God, the Truth: of all the created things You brought forth,

    Each bears the marks of submission to God.

  30. My God, the Truth: the question of where, like that of when,

    And how and how much, do not describe God.

  31. My God, the Truth: singular, one, unique

    In essence, action, and attributes is God.

  32. My God, the Truth: living, first, self-sufficient;

    Thus You have always been, and no ages belong to God.

  33. My God, the Truth: You were not born, nor did You beget;

    Things are created, and God has no equals.

  34. My God, the Truth: You sustain what Your hands created,

    Preserving and governing it by God.

  35. My God, the Truth: neither sleep nor drowsiness;

    Deficiencies cannot reach God.

  36. My God, the Truth: the possessive letter gathers all;

    It leaves not the weight of an atom outside God's possession.

  37. My God, the Truth: worthy of majesty—so who

    Could intercede without permission from God?

  38. My God, the Truth: His knowledge encompasses all, and apart from

    His will, we have learned nothing from God.

  39. My God, the Truth: His Throne extends over the

    Heaven and earth, both under the care of God.

  40. My God, the Truth: no imaginings can contain Your height,

    Nor the greatness attributed to God.

  41. My God, the Truth: a kingdom whose ruler has no refuge

    From the Owner of sovereignty except the mercy of God.

  42. My God, the Truth: You grant it and take it away;

    Honor and humiliation among creatures belong to God.

  43. My God, the Truth: the passing of day into night—

    What god besides God could bring it about?

  44. My God, the Truth: bringing life out of death—

    And the reverse—could this come from any but God?

  45. My God, the Truth: provisions without measure—

    Who but God grants them in full as a favor?

  46. My God, the Truth: appointed lifespans;

    Are destinies in any hand but God's?

  47. My God, the Truth: ordaining and bringing things forward

    Proceed according to the hidden wisdom of God.

  48. My God, the Truth: causes bringing about effects,

    With no increase or decrease from God.

  49. My God, the Truth: Your dominion encompasses all;

    Secret and unseen are as plain disclosure to God.

  50. My God, the Truth: my spirit stands

    With my inmost being and heart in devotion to God's oneness.

  51. My God, the Truth: my faith and understanding

    In the realm of remembrance are a gift from God.

  52. My God, the Truth: make me wholly sincere—

    By God, in God, with God: God, God.

  53. My God, the Truth: illumine me with knowledge,

    And grant me nearness through knowing God.

  54. My God, the Truth: by Your name, free me from

    My name, and lead me to sincerity before God.

  55. My God, the Truth: I have a self that I know;

    I complain to God of its disposition toward evil.

  56. My God, the Truth: You call it so that it may mend,

    But it withdraws toward desire from obedience to God.

  57. My God, the Truth: its attachments have turned it away,

    And its hidden inclinations have held it back from God.

  58. My God, the Truth: purify it and make it holy,

    Free of every blemish that distances it from God.

  59. My God, the Truth: governing it has proved too hard for me,

    Unless a glance from God grants me success.

  60. My God, the Truth: I have a sin that looms large to me,

    Yet nothing is too great for God.

  61. My God, the Truth: woe to me if it casts me

    Into the abyss of abhorrence, driven away from God.

  62. My God, the Truth: reach me with forgiveness

    And mercy, and keep me in the protection of God.

  63. My God, the Truth: grant me happiness and bless

    Muhammad, my support, among those chosen by God.
