1. Virtue accompanies him in every matter.

    And in each of his states, he wears what is fitting.

  2. Affairs pass pleasantly, thanks to his praise.

    For every station or course of conduct is marked by noble qualities.

  3. It is as though the moon’s waters were in the radiance of his face.

    He makes them shimmer, flowing from the essence of cheerfulness.

  4. He alights, while the journey of his resolve reaches across the horizons.

    And if he travels, the celestial spheres are those ambitions.

  5. After God, he has authority over the affairs of his age.

    Yet the duty to earn praise governs him.

  6. Circumstances do not earn the credit for his praiseworthy deeds.

    Rather, a praiseworthy character is inseparable from him.
