1. My God, Watcher of secrets and every glance, You never

cease to be, bounded by neither time nor place.

  2. My God, Watcher of every deed of mine, Knower of the

conscience, seeing my state, hearing my prayer.

  3. My God, near to my concealment, and wherever

my desperate need may be, answering, witness to my innermost secret.

  4. My God, You knew each thing before it came to be

and witnessed it before reality existed.

  5. My God, though “where” may be a place of concealment,

no “where” hides from You so much as an atom’s weight.

  6. My God, the bound of “where”—You are beyond it,

encompassing it, and beyond the bound of the temporal sphere.

  7. Watcher over this world and what was before what preceded it,

Watcher over the Hereafter, unto eternity,

  8. Watcher, Preserver, forever tending, knowing

the events of every detail of me, my God, and my entirety.

  9. My God, establish me, O Watcher, as one watchful

over my actions and abstentions, through the power of witness-consciousness,

  10. so that I undertake neither action nor abstention without

realizing that I am under knowledge and power.

  11. And be my Preserver, O Watcher, and a shield

for my soul against its human afflictions.
