الِلّه قل وذر الوجود وما حوى

إن كنتَ مرتاداً بلوغَ كمالِ

O God, say and leave existence and all it contains

If you seek to attain perfection

فالكلُّ دون اللَهِ إن حقّقتهُ

عدمٌ على التفصيل والإجمال

For all below God, if you examine it

Is nothingness in detail and in general

واعلَم بأنك والعوالم كلَّها

لولاهُ في محو وفي اضمحلال

And know that you and all the worlds

Without Him would be wiped out and destroyed

من لا وجودَ لذاتهِ من ذاته

فوجودهُ لولاهُ عينُ محالِ

One who has no existence in his essence

His existence without Him is purely impossible

فالعارفونَ فنوا ولمّا يشهدوا

شيئاً سوى المتكبر المتعال

Thus the gnostics vanished and when they witnessed

Nothing but the Exalted, the Magnificent

ورأوا سواهُ على الحقيقةِ هالكاً

في الحال والماضي والإستقبال

And saw all else as perishing in reality

In the present, past and future

فالمح بعقلك أو بطرفك هل ترى

شيئاً سوى فعل منَ الأفعال

So erase with your mind or glance - do you see

Anything but acts from the Acts?

وانظُر إلى علو الوجود وسفلهِ

نظراً تؤيدهُ بالإستدلالِ

And look upon the height of existence and its low

A look supported by reasoning

تجد الجميع يُشيرُ نحو جلالهِ

بلسان حالٍ أو لسان مقال

You will find all pointing to His Majesty

With the tongue of state or tongue of words

هو ممسك الأشياء من علوٍ إلى

سفلٍ ومُبدِعُها بغيرِ مثالِ

He who upholds things from high to

Low and originates them without model
