أنظر في مرآك الذي ترى

فيها هوَ ذاك

Look in your mirror that reflects

In it is that one

إرفع المرآة وانظر

يظهَر كلّ شيء

Raise the mirror and look

Everything appears

ترى الخالي والمعمور

وميتاً وحي

You see the empty and the full

And the dead and the alive

ما يبدو لكالمستور

إلّا بالمري

What seems hidden to you

Except with the mirror

ينكشف غطاك تبقى في الوجود وحدك

لا ترى سواك

Your cover is unveiled you remain alone in existence

You see no one but yourself

لا تنظر عيوب غيرك

إنَّ لكَ عيوب

Do not look at others' faults

You have faults

كلّ العيبِ من نفسك

إرتجع وتُب

All the fault is from your own self

Go back and repent

لو فُتحَ على قلبكَ

تخرقُ العُجب

If your heart is opened

Arrogance would tear through

ترى ذا وذاك تتفرّج في علمِ الغيب

تشكرُ من أعطاك

You see this and that you watch the unseen knowledge

You thank the one who gave you

معكَ الكلام كلّه

ولك الحديث

With you is all speech

And you have the conversation

خُذ من المليح جلّه

واترُك الخبيب

Take from the beautiful all of it

And leave the rubbish

والذي جهِلَ قُل له

بجهلكَ عميت

And to the one who was ignorant say to him

With your ignorance you blinded

لو أراد هداك لحقّقت في

أمري وفيما نهاك

If he wanted to guide you it would be realized in

My matter and in what I prohibited you

إعرف يا فقير اللَه

حقّ المعرفه

Know, O poor one, God

The right knowledge

ولا ترجُ إلّا اللَه

وكن ذا وفا

And do not hope except in God

And be loyal

ألم تعلم أنّ اللَه يحبُّ

الصّفا

Do you not know that God loves

Purity

لا تقُل نساك في الظاهر والباطن

ما يزال يراك

Do not say you are devout outwardly and inwardly

He still sees you
