وَخَوخَةٌ مِلءُ يَدِ الجانِيَه
تَملُكُ لَحظَ الأَعيُنِ الرانِيَه
And a peach, filling the hand of the woman who plucks it,
Commands the gaze of eyes fixed upon it:
مُصفَرَّةُ الوَجنَةِ مُحمَرَّةٌ
كَأَنَّها عاشِقَةٌ سالِيَه
Yellow-cheeked, yet flushed with red—
As though she were a lover who had forgotten love.
