I lament love with tears driven on by anguish,
until they clung to an eyelid—the flood had turned them back.
For in my heart are fresh paths for sorrow,
and in my eyelids sleep has a restless lodging.
The blaze of my heart made tears pour from my eyes,
and wood drips water when it burns.
